These menu-driven applications provide a deeper library of content and information which is stored in the mobile phones' memory. The user only needs to download the Mobile Application once (via a push from a BlueZone®, an SMS, or a mobile website), once installed it will appear on the menu of the phone with the branding of the advertiser. The users can then browse the menu and click through the different sections within the mobile application, just like using a website on their mobile phone.
Since the Application itself is already downloaded onto the phone, there is no cost or data connection required to browse through the menu of content. However if content or information needs to be updated this can be delivered from a BlueZone®, or advanced features can be integrated into the application to enable updating of content via GPRS/3G.
